In Fall of 2012, Florida Discount Guns Inc. submitted a patent application to the USPTO describing a new form of handheld, magazine fed firearm, called a ‘Never-Empty Double Gun‘, or ‘NEDG’.
What makes the NEDG unique is that it allows its operator to clear a jam, or reload the weapon, while simultaneously maintaining it in a ‘live fire’ or ‘ready’ status, ensuring the operator is always able to fire the unit ‘immediately and without hesitation’ – even if they are in the middle of a process that would normally render them defenseless. The combination of this unique feature, as well as it’s capacity to hold twice as much ammunition as a conventional firearm, helped to give this weapon the ‘Never-Empty’ moniker.
Florida Discount Guns Inc. is currently seeking funding from private investors and government sources to develop the project, and in an attempt to raise money, is offering the U.S. Military and Federal and State Law Enforcement Officers a chance to purchase this first generation conversion kit (which will be built to accomodate two Glocks) ’at cost’/'no markup’, in a ‘group-purchase‘.
